5 out of 5 stars GREAT FOR STARTING OUT   July 15, 2010

I've had my microphone for about 3 months now...it is still working like I just got it. I recently purchased a Tascam 122L as an audio interface and now it works even better. I was using a Mic Mate to give my mic it's phantom power and to convert it to USB. I record raps into FL Studio 9, and this product has work great for starting out. I would recommend this buy to anyone.

5 out of 5 stars Great for the broke musician!   July 6, 2010
Caboose (Los Angeles, CA)
This little inexpensive mic works wonders for those of us who like to play and record music, but cant afford the thousand dollar mics. I've had some pretty good recordings with this microphone. I'm no audiophile though, but it comes out clean and clear from what I can tell. If you're on the fence about this one, go for it. Great great deal, especially with a shock mount. Make sure to grab a pop filter as well.

4 out of 5 stars Just what the doctor ordered   July 4, 2010

Use this for podcasting. Some people say "muddy" sounding.......yeah and some people talk about how a certain wine has boquet or body, when I think most of them taste like crap. This sounds great to me. Are some microphones better? Probably but just like anything in life, there are wants, and needs. This is just what I need for podcasting. Does exactly what I ask of it. A great bang for your buck.

This is a nice mic, the box for protecting the mic is also a good details. I use this for recording at home and works perfectly.
